Mike Mobley

Lead Trainer

Mike is a 25 year veteran of the Illinois State Police and currently a Deputy Sheriff in Marion County, Illinois.  He became a certified DE-ESCALATE trainer in 2002, has presented DE-ESCALATE at state and national law enforcement conferences and his easy going nature and wealth of ‘war stories’ keeps classes educational and entertaining.   Mike has trained officers and civilians for 30+ years in verbal and physical defensive tactics and has served in positions as varied as certified juvenile officer, certified school resource officer, public information officer, certified gang crime expert, certified first responder/CPR instructor, patrol officer, tactical response team leader/trainer, sniper, and supervisor.
