Joe Camp

Lead Trainer

Joe has been a sworn officer and academy and community educator for 19 years and his students can readily see his passion for both law enforcement and education. He became a certified DE-ESCALATE trainer in 2002 and has presented the program nationally.  Joe’s calm and steady nature has served him well as an SRO, FTO, Community Policing Officer, and most recently as his agency’s Private Security Administrator.  He is highly skilled in the use of scenario based training to de-escalate youth and domestic violence situations.  Joe also teaches private security classes to officers seeking their private security certification.
